Thanks for your message.
Italy is a seismic country and earthquakes are not so unusual.
Unfortunately in the last weeks there were some strong tremors, until 4.4, in Abruzzo, near Vasto.
No one knows when or where tremors would come.
INGV is the official center for monitoring earthquakes and volcanos: if u are interesting u can visit theirs website (http://cnt.rm.ingv.it/) or contact them.

I was in Vasto visiting a cousin of mine who has lived there for years, and we went to the beautiful beach of la Sirenetta & I did love that beach but unfortunately, while my husband & I were there, there were tremors 3 of them which really scared me! Why does that happen in Vasto & how often do these earthquakes happen there?

And what are the possibilities of a dangerous earthquake might happen there?
